About BIBLIOPAZ

The Argentine Joint Training Centre for Peace Operations Library has a wide variety of books related to Peacekeeping Missions. It hosts written bibliography of specific manuals and books, such as Gender issues related copies, Protection of Civilians (POC), Civic and Military Coordination (CIMIC), International Humanitarian Law, Demining, Armed Conflicts and Maps, among others.

Mission
It is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive policy and strategy to preserve, file, register and spread reading material related to Peacekeeping Operations. It should be referral to CAECOPAZ personnel, participants of courses in the centre and contingents to be deployed in a UN Mission.

Aims

1. Constitute the core bibliography of CAECOPAZ
2. Gather, register, increase, coordinate, preserve and spread all bibliography.
3. Compile and publish documents of Peacekeeping Missions.
4. Provide the staff of the centre as well as students and personnel to be deployed with a source for consultation when needed.
